Dissemination and Exploitation

WP 9 is devoted to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results in order to bring them to attention of the relevant stakeholders. In addition to providing information to the stakeholders via an project website, one of the main tasks will be the development of proposals for standardization of the established test methods.

WP 9 will design an adequate dissemination and exploitation strategy of the project results starting by the identification of publishable information.

Additionally we will develop appropriate exploitation and dissemination plans and regularly update them. Reference standards and documentary standards are key deliverables of SETNanoMetro. They will be fed into ISO and or CEN (e. g. ISO/TC 206 “Fine ceramics”, CEN/TC 386 “Photocatalysis”, CEN/TC 352 “Nanotechnologies”, ISO/TC 201 “Surface chemical analysis”, ISO/TC 202 “Microbeam analysis”, ISO/TC 206 “Fine ceramics”, ISO/TC 229 “Nanotechnologies”). Further it is intended to provide input into CCQM, Surface Analyses WG, VAMAS TWA 34 “Techniques for characterizing morphology of airborne nanoparticles” developing new documentary standards on TiO2 surface chemical analysis. VAMAS TWA 34 will be used to set up inter-laboratory comparisons organized as pre-normative VAMAS projects. The VAMAS results are directly transferred into the ISO standardization process. The project further aims to validate through inter-laboratory comparisons at least two selected physico-chemical characterization methods able to be standardized. This will result in the submission of at least two NWIPs or CWAs for standardized measurement of selected physico-chemical properties of both individual TiO2 nanoparticles and nanoparticle assembly/aggregation states forming nanostructured and nano-enabled systems.
